Le lundi 20 février 2023, un militaire djiboutien membre de bataillon Hill Walal 9 a tiré sur ses frères d’armes.

Le bataillon Hill Walal 9 est un groupement des forces armées djiboutiennes stationnées dans la région de Beledweyne. Ce bataillon est membre de la Mission de transition de l’Union africaine en Somalie (ATMIS).

La raison de cette tuerie entre soldats djiboutiens à Beledweyne est le conflit à Laascaanood.

Le soldat djiboutien membre du bataillon Hill Walal 9 qui a tiré sur ses frères d’armes est un Djiboutien de l’ethnie Dhulbahante/Darood connu sous le prénom de Kadar.

Ce soldat djiboutien n’a pas pu supporter que l’armée djiboutienne livre des armes à l’état de la Somaliland qui massacre actuellement la population de la région Sool qui est majoritairement de l’ethnie Dhulbahante/Darood, nous dit-on.

On Monday 20 February 2023, a Djiboutian soldier member of the Hill Walal 9 battalion shot at his brothers in arms.

The Hill Walal 9 Battalion is a group of the Djibouti armed forces stationed in the Beledweyne region. The battalion is a member of the African Union Transitional Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).

The reason for the killing of Djibouti soldiers in Beledweyne is the conflict in Laascaanood.

The Djiboutian soldier from the Hill Walal 9 battalion who shot his brothers in arms is a Djiboutian from the Dhulbahante/Darood ethnic group.

This Djiboutian soldier could not bear that the Djiboutian army delivers weapons to the state of Somaliland which is currently massacring the population of the Sool region which is predominantly of Dhulbahante/Darood ethnicity, we are told.

This Djiboutian soldier from the Dhulbahante/Darood ethnic group injured five soldiers and killed a sergeant. He is currently in custody in Djibouti and the injured soldiers have been evacuated to Nairobi.
