Somalie : Une société turque va gérer le port de Mogadiscio

Une entreprise de la Turquie a pris en charge la gestion du plus grand port de la Somalie, à Mogadiscio.
La société, Al-Bayrak, devrait permettre d’améliorer le fonctionnement et l’infrastructure du port, selon des responsables du gouvernement.

Le ministre somalien des ports et de Transports maritime, Yusuf Moalim Amin, a exprimé sa confiance que la société va réhabiliter le port pour répondre aux normes internationales.

« Une fois remis en état, le port pourra accueillir de plus grands navires, » a déclaré le ministre Amin.

Le président de la Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de la Somalie, Mohamed Abdikarim Gabay, a déclaré que les commerçants et les hommes d’affaires espèrent que la nouvelle direction permettra d’améliorer la dynamique du port.

« Al-Bayrak a prévu de moderniser le port et les services qu’il offre», a déclaré M. Gabayre. Il a ajouté: «Bien gérer, le port va certainement augmenter les revenus du gouvernement, au profit de la population en général. »

Le fonctionnement du port a été remis à l’entreprise lors d’une cérémonie qui s’est tenue ce dimanche.
